That's a wrap for 2025! 👋🏼 Hi, I’m Moiz. I'm a Fractional Head of Product who helps top climate-tech teams build product from strategy, discovery, to execution. You’re receiving this because you’re building in climate and we’ve crossed paths. Each issue distills one proven concept that I use with my clients - and gives you a way to apply it to your work. Here's what's inside:
First, I want to say Thank You!In 2025 I found that writing has been fun, challenging and at times a grueling pursuit. I now understand the trepidation that every content creator feels before hitting "send". BUT... Getting replies, questions and collaboration opportunities from you makes it a lot more motivating! So seriously, Thank You! This season, I'm planning on taking things as SLOW as possible. Spending time with my friends/family, workout and dive into a historical fiction novel - finally time for non-business books! I'm wishing you and yours a restful Holiday! 2025 Wrapped - Lean Coffee with Climate PMs10 Lean Coffee meetings with 80+ Climate Product Managers. Climate PMs in 2025 weren't just building products. Top Voted TopicsAI dominated the conversation 7 meetings featured AI discussions—from prototyping with Lovable and Claude to wondering if we're building feature factories. Someone asked: "Are we in the age of the feature factory?" No one had a good answer. The job market Conversations circled back to career pivots, org restructurings, and positioning yourself as the first PM hire when founders aren't sure they want PMs. Some considered going back to big tech. Policy became product strategy Post-OBBB, we dissected which energy segments could survive without federal funding, whether to move operations to Canada or Europe, and how to sell climate products without saying "climate" because "people's faces drop". We learned how to pivot what we say and to who. In person Meetup at NY Climate Week!A bunch of us got together at NYCW. I made some flashcards of recent topics to get the conversation going. Yes, I'm that nerdy. From Insight to ActionFree Workshops & Events in January
